The UTMB® 2018 race entry list was announced today, as the results of the registration ballot were published online at 10.00am (GMT+1). With a limited number of places available across all events making it a tough race to get into…. let alone – run!
Registrations closed on January 3rd with entry numbers running high.
All races were oversubscribed with the following percentages: UTMB® 228% CCC® 196%, the TDS® 138%, the OCC370% and PTL® 102%
So Are You One Of The Lucky Ones?
Athletes that have been selected to run in the UTMB®, TDS®, CCC® and OCC, have just 14 days to finalise registration, completing payment and sending in all required documents.
Who Else Will Be On The Starting Line In 2018?
Also online is the elite line up for all the races, with some top names showing up… just to name a few: Caroline Chaverot, Mimmi Kotka, Andrea Huser, Kaci Lickteig, Nuria Picas, Jo Meek, Beth Pascall, Elisabet Barnes, Holly Rush and Debbi Martin-Consani… Jim Walmsley, Luis Alberto Hernando, Hayden Hawks, Tim Tollefson, Gediminas Grinius, Xavier Thevenard, Sondre Amdahl, Dominick Layfield, Michael Jones and Thomas Payn…and that’s just a selection from the UTMB®.
Consider Running The UTMB® for Charity
Why not put your efforts towards a good cause? There is a total of 140 charity race-bibs available to runners during two distinct registration time slots. The first was from between November 8th to December 1st 2017, and the second, which is open as from today January 11th.
How Does It Work?
- Choose the charity that you wish to support
- Select which race you’d like to compete in
- You then have 5 days in which to confirm your race-bib by donating a minimum deposit of 500€ to your chosen charity
- The final donation of €2000 must be made before May 31st
