When is Easter 2019?
Good news for runners as this year Easter should bring us good weather as it falls relatively late on Sunday, April 21. Nearly in May!
Italian Holidays Easter, Labour Day and Mayday
That’s just several days before another Italian public holiday the “Festa della Liberazione” Liberation Day which marks the end of the Second World War in Italy. It’s quite usual to see many Italian towns decorated with Italian flags, and festive bunting along the streets, along with commemorative ceremonies, and rallies.
Shortly after on the first of May comes another Public holiday: “Festa del Lavoro”, Labour Day. Many large cities across Italy hold open air concerts, one of the biggest being in Rome, Italy’s capital city, which is simple called Primo Maggio.
