This popular Trail race will be in its 4th year (2018) and has limited number of race bibs. In fact places for 2018 filled up just days after entry opened up! But you can get your name on the waiting list.
Run on the steep, winding paths along the Ligurian coastline and enjoy the spectacular views across this World Heritage site. The Sciacchetrail starts in Monterosso – in the Cinque Terre and this stunning race course has attracted runners from all over Europe giving the race a truly international field. Sciacchetrail – What does this mean?! Sciacchetrà is a “passito” a sweet dessert or cheese wine produced in the Cinque Terre from Bosco, Albarola and Vermentino grape varieties.

- Visit the National Cinque Terre Park – This Ligurain World Heritage site is one of Italy’s smallest National Parks – “Cinque Terre” translates to “Five Lands” – and refers to the five hamlets of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso al Mare.
