October is a lovely month to spend some time in Italy. The passionate intensity of the full-on Italian summer matures into the elegance of Autumn.

Not only does the summer heat fade into a gentler warmth,  colours take on earthier tones, light is conciliating, and a simple walk through the woods becomes a passage through harmony.

October – So with shorter days, less heat and low-season prices, this is a pretty good time to come to Italy.
Our trail race calendar includes most trail and sky running races, which we consider offer a good running experience, taking into consideration one or more of several factors:

  • location
  • information available
  • race routes
  • distances to choose from
  • the ‘good event factor’
  • offer of post race activities in vicinity

Bear in mind that not all Italian race websites have sections in English, so either resort to Google translate, or send an enquiry email to race directors.
