We love this spectacular Trail race! The Sant’Olcese trail race takes place in lovely Liguria. The climbs are steep, so you’ll have to be prepared, but just check out the amazing places you’ll see in the race video, the highlight being Forte Diamante – one of the most imposing forts in the entire network of Genoa’s defense system.

#3 AMALFI COAST TRAIL
This stage race is an awesome way to spend a week’s Trail Holiday in the wonderful Unesco World Heritage Amalfi Coast, near Naples in the South of Italy. Enjoy the shorter distances that will give you plenty of time to enjoy the other activities available, and the event has laid on plenty! Programme on website. The stages will take you to the lovely island of Capri, to the Vesuvuis Volcano, the Amalfi Coast, Positano, and Sorrento.
