Off trail! This week we go on to the roads….

Trail running wise – it’s quite hard to come across an exact, nicely rounded one hundred kilometers and 100k Ultra TRAIL race routes will usually be above or slightly lower than the magic 100K mark, having to take into account existing paths where race directors have to design a race route that is feasible for logistics, meaning that it’s difficult to come up with a trail race bang on the 100k mark.

So we head off the trails and on to the tarmac to satisfy runners in search of the magic 100km distance.
